Liverpool Set To Sign Icelandic Starlet?
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is reportedly close to bringing a talented midfield starlet in the form of Victor Palsson, to Anfield.
The Reds, according to a report on Setanta.com, are set to sign the teenage Icelander subject to medical.
Benitez has regularly bolstered the youth ranks at the Merseyside club and with the reportedly imminent addition of the 18-year-old, is set to have a strong group of talented youngsters at his disposal with the likes of Nabil El Zhar getting first-team squad chances this season.
Palsson, plays for Danish side AGF’s first-team and is under contract at the club until 2010 and is valued in the region of £100,000. The midfielder is said to have impressed the Anfield boss during a trial at Melwood training ground back in October and now looks set to join the Premier League club.
